Hong Kong, 06 October 2017. Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo will take part in the annual conference " Shifting World Dynamics and the Evolving Workplace: Global labour law conference ", organised by Lewis Silkin , the British member firm of Ius LaborisTM, the largest global alliance of employment law and HR law specialists, in collaboration with Ius Laboris™ and the British Chamber of Commerce for Hong Kong.
The event, which will take place today in Hong Kong, will feature a discussion of employment law topics at an international level and, in particular, a comparison of divergent European and Asian legislation. Topical employment law issues be will be discussed, from the Brexit to the Belt and Road Initiative and the pending French employment law reforms, to more specific topics such as work/life balance.
Valeria Morosini , Partner at Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo will take part in the session “Work/life balance or work/life chaos? Managing flexibility and stress in the modern workplace”, which will feature a comparison between the Italian legislative framework and experience with that of Germany, UK Japan and Hong Kong. The debate, in which Kazutoshi Kakuyama, Markus Bohnau and Kathryn Weaver – all partners of Ius Laboris™ member firms – will take part, will look further in depth at different aspects of flexible forms of work in different countries, the advantages and the limits of these and the experience of employers in facing forms of stress deriving from work conditions.
